You want joyful, high-quality music at your preschool.

We make it simple—even if your teachers aren’t musicians.

Welcome.

Why Schools Love Us

Because this isn’t “just music class.”

It becomes part of the heartbeat of your school.

Through joyful, research-based music and movement experiences, children aren’t just learning songs — they’re building confidence, connection, coordination, listening skills, self-regulation, and a lifelong love of learning.

When you walk past your classroom you'll see...

Children are fully engaged: Classes are playful, active, developmentally appropriate, and designed for the way young children naturally learn best.

Teachers feel supported, not overwhelmed: Our trained specialists lead the classes while classroom teachers participate alongside the children in a joyful, low-pressure environment.

Families continue the experience at home: Each family at your school is gifted a beautifully illustrated songbook and award winning recordings so children bring the songs, rituals, and joy home — creating stronger family connection and deeper engagement with your school community.

Music supports the whole child: Movement, rhythm, singing, listening, and imaginative play all work together to support social-emotional growth, school readiness, language development, and coordination.

It strengthens school culture: Shared songs and musical rituals create connection across classrooms, teachers, and families — helping your school feel warm, vibrant, and deeply connected.

It’s easy to implement: No complicated prep. No need for musical expertise. We bring the curriculum, materials, training, and joyful energy directly to your school.

Children experience music from many cultures and styles: Our rich repertoire includes songs in different tonalities, meters, languages, and musical traditions from around the world.

It brings more joy into the school day: And honestly? You can feel the difference. The laughter, movement, confidence, and connection ripple far beyond music class itself.

What a Visit Looks Like

Imagine walking past a classroom and hearing joyful singing drifting down the hallway.

Children shaking scarves.
Teachers singing alongside students.
Drums, movement, laughter, and connection filling the room.

Each Music Together In School visit is playful, research-based, and developmentally appropriate — designed specifically for the way young children naturally learn.

During our 30 minute classroom visit you will see:

  • fine motor skills through instrument play and finger games

  • gross motor coordination through movement, dancing, and steady beat activities

  • listening and focus through tonal and rhythm pattern exploration

  • memory and sequencing through playful musical repetition

  • language development through singing, chanting, and call-and-response songs

  • self-regulation and classroom participation through structured movement and transitions

  • confidence, creativity, and social connection through joyful music-making together

  • Children experience rich world music from many cultures, languages, tonalities, and rhythms — expanding their musical understanding while helping them experience the beauty of a diverse world.

  • You’ll see scarves floating, drums beating, teachers participating, children laughing, and classrooms fully engaged.

  • And because the classes are developmentally appropriate and research-based, the learning feels like play — while supporting many of the exact skills preschool teachers care most about every day.

And the magic doesn’t end when class is over.

The songs travel home.

Teachers begin using music throughout the day.

And music slowly becomes part of the heartbeat of your school culture.

FAQs

MTphoto 04 web_483485.jpg

What if my child just want to run around?

Totally normal! Children learn through play and movement. Whether they’re dancing, observing, or exploring the room, they’re still absorbing the music and learning in their own way.

Do I need to be a great singer or musician?

Not at all!  Our classes are about joyful music-making, not performance.  Your child doesn’t care how you sound—they care that you’re present. Our classes are designed to help you feel comfortable and confident making music together, no experience required.

What if I have to miss a class?

No problem! We offer unlimited bonus classes. Life with little ones is unpredictable, and we’ve built in the flexibility you need.

Is this just for babies?

Just the opposite! Our mixed-age classes are designed for children ages 0–5, so babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can all thrive together—and even siblings can attend together. The music and activities are layered so every child gets something meaningful at their level.

My child is just a baby. Should we wait until they’re older?

No need to wait—now is the perfect time! Your baby is born wired for music. Even before they can walk or talk, they are absorbing rhythm, tone, and emotional connection. In addition to giving you and your baby a beautiful way to bond, research shows that making music with your baby supports their brain development more than any other activity!

Ugh!  It's so expensive.  Can't we just do music at home?

Absolutely, and we hope you do make music at home! In addition, Music Together gives you the tools, structure, repertoire and joyful community to make it easier for you. Research shows that early music education boosts brain development more than almost any other activity (USC, 2016)— think of it an making an investment in your child's brain!
