Magical Violin Teacher Wanted

The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional individual to teach group and individual violin classes at our home base in Nob Hill, Albuquerque.

In this role, you will work within a dedicated team of violin pedagogues to deliver joyful, high-quality music education to children ages 3–10 and their grownups, primarily working with Wee Violin students and early Suzuki Book 1 learners.

We seek vibrant, warm, loving, peaceful, and joyful violin teachers who are passionate about the transformational benefits of music for young children.

This is not just a teaching job.


This is meaningful, relational work that shapes confidence, connection, and identity.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Teach engaging, developmentally appropriate 1:1 violin lessons (ages 3–10)

  • Lead and support group classes

  • Partner with parents—musically and emotionally—as they support their child

  • Observe master teachers and continue growing your craft

  • Contribute to curriculum and program development

  • Participate in team trainings and summer camps

  • Use tools such as Trello and Google Sheets to track student progress

The Essentials

  • Ability to play violin well and teach both individual and group lessons

  • Suzuki Book 1 and Wee Violin training (or willingness to complete training Summer 2026)

  • A desire to grow—both as a teacher and as a human

  • Bi-weekly pay

 

Schedule & Details

  • Training: June 22–27, 2026

  • Start Date: August 10, 2026

  • Schedule (based on projected enrollment, subject to change): 

    • Monday 10-2, 3-7

    • Tuesday 4-7:30

    • Wednesday 4-7:30

    • Thursday 4-7:30

  • Option to increase hours to full time Fall 2027​

  • Location: Nob Hill, Albuquerque, New Mexico

  • Salary: commensurate with experience

  • Position may be combined with administrative and/or Music Together teaching opportunities for candidates seeking expanded or full-time hours.
